Hardcover. 180p., production still frontis, lightly-shelfworn first edition in black boards and red spine titles, unclipped ($3.00 price intact) edgeworn dj with a sticker-removal scar on author's photo on rear panel. Movie source for the Marlon Brando Yellow Face atrocity (the play also commited Yellow Face with David Wayne in Brando's Sakini role) Pulitzer Prize-winner for 1954. The play was written in 1952 and opened in 1953. The acting edition was available in 1953 but this was the first hardcover edition and published in connection with the Pulitzer win which is noted on front of jacket.
