The Spitfire Squadron accounts of "ten pilots, most of whom have seen action in the Battle of Britain, and later, in the Battle of France. Three of the original authors are now dead - killed in action. God only knows how many will see the war through. No effort has been made to alter the phraseology. What you are about to read is as pilots would and did express themselves." - Introduction. Name and date inside front board. Library stamp upon front free endpaper.
