ROMA: PER IGNATIO DE LAZARI, 1660. In 12. Dim. 15x8,5 cm. Pp. (12)+86+(4)+48. Prima edizione del 1660 di questa rarissima opera letteraria di Mario Cevoli (1621-1690). L'opera è formata da due parti legate insieme ed è completa. All'interno una serie di sonetti a tema religioso ma non solo: la fontana di Piazza Navona, letteratura classica, filosofia, in onore di Pallavicino Sforza, alle donne romane, numerosi sugli amanti. Alla fine della seconda parte dell'opera diversi componimenti poetici in lode di Cevoli e della sua Testudine scritti da diversi autori: Gio. Pietro Monesio, Honorio Savelli, Francesco Tonti, Francesco Saliti, Fracisco de Pan y Roccaverti, Tomas de Aversa, Berardo de conti Berardi Capotio, Pietro Antonio Ridolfi, Cesare Colonna, Giuseppe Bontempi, Francesco Maria Sereni, Giacomo Pignatelli, Francesco Sinibaldi, Paolo Ranieri, Filippo Maggalussi, Carlo Marcheselli, Paolo Tesaurati ecc... Legatura in piena pergamena coeva. In buone condizioni. Raro, nessuna copia censita su ICCU e non rintracciato nella bibliografia consultata. Copertina in piena pergamena coeva in discrete condizioni generali con usure e parti mancanti ai margini e dorso. Resti di carta al dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con rare fioriture e qualche lieve gora d'umidità marginale. First edition of 1660 of this very sacrce litterary work by Mario Cevoli (1621-1690). The work is made up of two parts bound together and it is complete. Inside a series of sonnets of religious theme but not only: the fountain of Piazza Navona, classical litterature, phylosophy, in honour of Pallavicino Sforza, to roman women, different sonnets to lovers. At the end of the second part of the work different poetical components in ode of Cevoli and his Testudine written by different authors: Gio. Pietro Monesio, Honorio Savelli, Francesco Tonti, Francesco Saliti, Fracisco de Pan y Roccaverti, Tomas de Aversa, Berardo de conti Berardi Capotio, Pietro Antonio Ridolfi, Cesare Colonna, Giuseppe Bontempi, Francesco Maria Sereni, Giacomo Pignatelli, Francesco Sinibaldi, Paolo Ranieri, Filippo Maggalussi, Carlo Marcheselli, Paolo Tesaurati etc... Full parchment coeval cover. In good conditions. Scarce, no copy cited in the bibliography checked. Full parchment coeval cover in fair general conditions with wearings and missing parts in the edges and spine. Signs of paper in the spine. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with occasional foxings and some slight humidity stains in the edges.
