About This Item

Oxford: 0. Oxford, , c1935. . Unbound. A piece of original art. Marshall is little known nowadays, beyond having provided wood engravings for two (?) Tintern Press titles [Cherry Ripe by A.E.Coppard, 1935 and The Scull by Rhys Davies in 1936]. Black ink on white card (scraperboard detailing), with the detail having been scratched in. Presumably simply artworks, not prepared for publication given the technique. Or perhaps preparatory work. Image 110x75, Outer 192x167 with taped paper guard. [8778, Hyraxia Books]. c1935 . Near Fine. Unbound. 1935.
