Theatre 1955 - 56

by Ivor Brown

Condition: Very Good/Very Good +

London: Max Reinhardt, 1956 This book is in very good condition and looks to have been in protective wraps ever since it was new. The cordial reception of Ivor Browns first annual review of the British stage 'Theatre 1954 - 5 ', encouraged his determination to continue with the series , the purpose being giving anyone with a love of theatre a book of reference reflecting the senior critics of the time. The book has some wonderful stage photos of the actors of the day 'in situ '. Each year there is a special review of the work done in a foreign country and in this book it is the work of the French Theatre. There is a previous owners inscription to inner first page otherwise the book is in excellent condition.
