The children work on matching, identifying, and labeling pictures. They create sentences with the pictures and read the sentences with and then without the pictures. As in I Go To School, pictures can also be used to answer simple functional questions. (Ex. Where do you go when you are tired? Answer: To bed!) These books are designed to be used on many levels. Utilizing the power of visual strategies, the children learn to associate pictures with words. The fun, interactive nature of these books is rewarding to children with and without special needs.
