Short crease to left upper edge of map, otherwise very good, clean condition. The brightly colored street map "Thomas Bros. Map of the City & County of San Francisco" is an interesting departure from the staider black and white maps of the War era; in another development little pictographs highlight attractions such as Sutro Baths and the various golf clubs (including the California Golf Club) at Laguna de la Merced. Bethlehem Shipyards and the Sante Fe Yards are marked in the vicinity of Central Basin. The Naval Reservation at Hunter's Point is marked; there is no indication of the reclamation to be undertaken along the coast line at this point; Bay View Park fronts the Bay. A listing of Points of Interest is provided in the right margin; the legend notes different forms of transportation, schools etc. .
