Hardcover with dust jacket. 4to unpaginated Signed and inscribed by Illustrator on the title page," For Emily - from Gertrude Barrer 1982." Gertrude Barrer (1921-1992) was a co-founder and art editor of Iconograph, an avant-garde art/literary magazine that was influential to both the Abstract Expressionist movement and the Indian Space movement. The artist was also an active member of SPIRAL, an association of American Abstract painters who exhibited together throughout the 1950s and 60s. The book is in very good condition with very slight shelf wear/slight bumping to corners. The dust jacket is in good condition with small tears and rubbing to edges. Interior is clean and tight. Yellow spine/Black text. #031157. Signed. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Illus. by Gertrude Barrer-Russel. 4to. Childrens Book.
