Chicago.: Hurley Machine Company.. No date. Ca. 1928.. Photo-illustrated instruction booklet 8 ½ x 5 ½ inches, 16 pp., directing "How to Iron with Thor Rotary Irons (Electrically Heated)." Booklet provides step-by-step instructions on how to pass a very long morning shoving garments onto the circular heated roller without torching your laundry room or incurring serious upper-body injury. First page of booklet pictures a happy-go-lucky woman exiting the front door of her house, accompanied by a small child. One presumes the Rotary Iron has been taken out to the curb with a sign saying "FREE," and that everything requiring cleaning is now put in a bag for pickup by a Laundry Service. Cover of booklet has spotting in lower left corner, evidently caused by wax drippings; crease to first page, otherwise good condition overall. .
