One of a series of 'The Henny-Penny Books For Little Chicks' for children. All Miniature books sized 7cm x 6.5cm (c. 2.8" x 2.5") . Highly destinctive original pictorial covers in primary colours of red, blue, white, and yellow, and featuring a 'wrap-around illustration of 3 bunnies and yellow flowers front to back - titled in blue, with card covers cut flush, front and back. Stapled. The staples are rusty and internally 'bleeding' rust in places in the gutters, but all holding soundly. Internally there is a list of titles in this 'Henny-Penny' series (8 listed) on the reverse of the title page. No pagination (but circa 48 card pages). Numerous b/w cute illustrations throughout the book but none 'signed'. Only two illustrations here have been VERY lightly coloured in by a child. Overall the book is tight and clean otherwise, with NO Inscriptions or other marks than those already noted. A charming example of an early child's 20th Century Miniature book. Probably a cheaper option to the publisher's hardback 'Tippenny-Tuppenny' Books. A delightful tale of 3 naughty bunnies - Miggles, Twiggles and Riggles, and their adventures together!
