About This Item

London: Chatto & Windus, 1945. VG+/VG. First edition, first printing in d/w not price clipped. A poem written in the unusual form of a story sequence in verse, and is the development of the psychological relationship between a young child and the adult world; the dark wood resembles the rabbit hole in 'Alice In Wonderland'. Some spotting to top-edge; d/w has age-tanning around spine, and edges of the d/w; else a very good plus copy, in a very good d/w, of a first edition in an UNCOMMON d/w. NO inscriptions, underlining or highlighting. D/w now protected in a detachable, non-adhesive, clear sheaf.. First Edition, First Printing. Very Good Plus/Very Good.
