Considered to be the founder of aeronautical engineering in Bulgaria, as well as a contributor to the development of aviation in the United States, Jordanoff (1896-1967) wrote a number of popular instructional books on aeronautics that served as essential reading for an entire generation of pilots. Inscribed by Jordanoff on the front flyleaf. Tall octavo. Original blue buckram binding, with silver stamping. An ink date (2-6-1939) has been added below Jordanoff's inscription. Some mild shelfwear to the dust jacket; otherwise very good. Inscribed by Author.
