Presentation inscription dated 1868 on the front endpaper of each volume, the covers are worn at the corners and ends of the spine, there is some spotting to the plates and a few pages, some dampstaining to the covers. In mylar wrappers. Also known as Augustus F. Lindley. Locale: China. (Military, Military, Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Taiping Rebellion--1850-64).
