Charming story in verse about Santa Claus' younger brother, Santa Criss, and two magical figures that emerge from two bonbons he made. Illustrated mainly in duotone (black and white plus one additional color) plus several full color plates. Blue cloth lettered in gilt with color illustration mounted on the front cover, patterned endpapers, 96 pages. Covers have some finger soil and edgewear, with light fraying to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, two bits of old adhesive on the front pastedown, a few tiny chips and closed tear to the far lower margins, light foxing to dedication page, very minor old transparent stain to the far top margins, gift notation on the verso of the front free endpaper, pages otherwise unmarked and generally clean with a few instances of light finger soil.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

New York: E. P. Dutton & Co., 1924. Third printing, 1924, same year as the first. Red cloth lettered and decorated in gilt, no dustjacket. Light rubbing to the extremities, just a touch of barely noticeable finger soil to the cover, gilt somewhat dulled but very clearly legible, good hinges, sound text block, slightly age-toned but clean pages, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Dark blue cloth with color illustration mounted on the front cover, lettering in gilt, no dustjacket, possibly as issued. Very good copy with very light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages with an old gift notation on the reverse side of the frontis illustration, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Hilarous children's book featuring a sneezing elephant, a story in very expressive pictures rather than words (other than Ah-Choo!). Illustrated in black and white. Pictorial hardcover, oblong format, about 5.25" x 6", matching dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with some rubbing to the spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is priceclipped and is in near fine condition, no chips or tears.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Oblong 12mo.

Long, narrow hardcover (10.5 x about 3.25 inches) with original mailing carton that has a window for the crocodile's snout to be visible. Some age-speckling to the white background, slightly darkened area consistent with the mailing box window, one inch tape repair to the bottom of the rear cover, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with some minor age-toning to the first and last pages, no names or other markings. The mailing box has some old tape marks to the far end (tape has long ago fallen off), minor soil, French stamps but no postmark. Our guess is that the mailing box was never intended to be actually used to mail the book but was just there for effect. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Good Mailing Box. Narrow Oblong 8vo.
