Hardcover. 8vo - 20.5 x 13.5 cm.; (6) - 281 pp. Wine red cloth over boards with yellow lettering on the spine and a blind stamped border rule on the front board. This is one of the "Star Series" from Garden City Publishing meaning it is a reprint done from the same plates as the original but using less expensive materials all round. No date of publication is given other than that of the original Doubleday copyright date of 1926. The book shows minor wear to the lower fore corners and the spine tips. The text block head edge is darkened, otherwise the book is very clean with a tight binding. The dust jacket, ah yes that poor creature . . . the darkened spine is missing the top and bottom and has been tape repaired on the inside. It is almost all there but 'tis a fragile one and has been protected with a clear and removable archival cover. .
