Clamshell case, 7½ by 13½ inches housing the 8vo work by the authors plus three miniature facsimiles of the eighteenth century originals: The 'Pretty Book' exists in only one copy; only two exist of 'Tommy Thumb's Pretty Song Book'. The case is covered with purple cloth, gilt spine title. The explanatory text is covered in the same cloth, and with gilt titles on the upper board. The 12mo. facsimiles are bound in different shades of silk, gilt titles on the upper boards.
