New York: Wilfred Funk, Inc 1964. (Hardcover) 152pp. Very good plus in very good dust jacket. Map endpapers, photographs, maps, illustrations, bibliography, index. The dust jacket is price-clipped and edgeworn with some 1-inch closed tears, speckling to the front panel and minor creasing to the top of the back panel, and there is a previous owner's name on the front free endpaper. "Vivid pageantry and a love of festivities were a way of life for the Indians of seven 'nations' of the Pacific Northwest Coast. An ancient, colorful people, they lived in a vast region that stretched from the west side of Washington's Cascade Mountains northward through British Columbia and the panhandle of Alaska".
