Dark red covers with simple blind decoration and with gilt lettering on the front and spine, lightly bumped corners and spine-ends, paper split and showing webbing over internal hinges bit covers are attached and binding of text-block is sound, end-papers are darkened but pages are clean. Neither of the two maps are present in this volume. No dust-jacket. Stamps for Halifax Antiquarian Society and "Withdrawn" stamp on inside front cover, prlims and on occasional pages.
