A history of the place of women in society, from ancient Babylonia to the modern woman in the United States.Illustrated green cloth binding with red titles on spine. Spotting of cover, edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped, soiling along interior edges of cover, some smudges on interior pages, author inscription and signature on half title, interior pages bright with spotting of page edges, binding tight. Illustrated green and white dust jacket with green and white titles on front cover and spine is tattered at edges, holes in front cover of jacket stains, creases, soiling along top inner folds, not price clipped.
