New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1915. First edition. Hardcover. 408pp. Octavo [19 cm] Blue cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles. Good. The covers are slightly faded and rubbed, and the spine is subtly rolled. There is a crease in the spine. The spine and the fore edge of the rear cover have numerous very tiny light stains. The edges of the covers are gently bumped. The pages are very mildly browned. The hinges are a little weak. The text block is just beginning to crack at p. 171. No dust jacket. With a frontispiece by Norman Rockwell. This frontispiece is Norman Rockwell's first book appearance. This is the author's scarce third book. Published September, 1915, Code H-P.
