Tekesbury Bridge, the Drops at South Shields, Youghal Bridge, canal lifts, and the Torpoint floating bridge. Mild to medium spotting on plates. Light green cloth. Spine faded, with small chips and tears in edges, a few small spots to covers, front hinge cracked internally. Owner's label on title. Inscription on half-title.

Includes articles on timber, British bridges, steam pumps in the Cornish mines, drops used by the Stanhope and Tyne Railroad Company, the teeth of wheels, cast iron, locomotive engines, the Grand Western Canal, and lighthouse lighting, among others.
