Octavo, 9 1/2" tall, color frontispiece (Wagener apple) xx + 975 pages with some intertextual illustrations + black and white plate pages, brown embossed cloth. A good copy overall, back strip over spine chipped away, and fore-corner tips worn through to board, with one portion laid in, cover exterior moderately soiled. Interior is very good, generally clean, binding solid with pages lightly yellowed, with foxing to the fore-edges and first and plast pages (does not affect text).
