Frontispiece portrait of author, all plates as called for (mostly illustrations of anaimals), coloured folding map bound in at rear. Related newspaper cuttings left laid in. Condition notes: Binding strained at half-title, and at one other place, small translucent tape repairs to top margins of front free end paper and half-title, hence Good rather than Very Good. The map has a tear into its margin but is otherwise undamaged, and clean and bright.
