About This Item

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1951. First American Edition. Hardcover. Owner address label in the shape of a frog on the front endpaper. Rubbing to spine; mild discoloration to edges. Very Good, lacking the dustwrapper. A collection of short stories, including the much-anthologized "First Confession," as well as "The Man of the House" and "The Drunkard," among others. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the front endpaper with reference to the book's title: "Clem & Marki/from/'The Salesman'/F O'Connor." Books signed by O'Connor are uncommon.
