Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge-wear with chips, tears and creasing. Notable marks to front of jacket. Moderate tanning to spine.

Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - owners name to front endpaper dated 1954; text and illustrations by the author bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
