About This Item
Very Good Original Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 Hardcovers. Complete Two Volume set. Hard to find and still unsurpassed in depth and insight by Gertrude Loomis, one of the trio of academic wives of Roger Sherman Loomis. Here is the more desirable Second Edition with it's updated work by Roger Sherman Loomis. The Celtic Goddess aspect of the Fairy paramour was one of the themes of Loomis research. Here the French, German, Welsh, and English contributions are studied. While these are Ex-library copies the markings are not overwhelmingly so. NO Spine Numbers, NO library book plates. NO underlines in text. But there are library pockets and other library marks the shadow on one cover. 216 pp Vol.1. 618 pp. Vol. 2. Still these are nice copies of a hard set to find and if the Fairy Forest of Broceliande calls to you! See our Scans for Spine, Covers, Partial Table of Contents and Edition Information. Three Geese in Flight Celtic Books since 1977
