Racine, WI:: Golden Press,, (1971.). Fair condition only (front hinge cracked, tearing to spine covering along side of spine) . Later printing. The 'plain' or 'thin' format: the last hardcover format used for this series until 2004. Cover illustration by Larry Frederick. White endpapers, with green drawings of the Bob-Whites, now distinctly teenagers of the period (1970's.) Measures 7 3/4 by 5 1/8 inches. 212 pages.

Synopsis

Trixie Belden is the title character in a series of 'girl detective' mysteries written between 1948 and 1986. The first six books were written by Julie Campbell Tatham, who also wrote the Ginny Gordon series, then continued by various in-house writers from Western Publishing under the pseudonym Kathryn Kenny. Today the rights to the series are owned by Random House.
