London: Printed and Sold by T James, M Cooper; J Robinson; A Don, and J Barnes, 1753 A good copy of the 2nd edition of this extremely scarce work, attributed to John Campbell. Bound in newer half calf binding with marbled boards and matching marbled endpapers. Spine with raised bands and title label. The binding is in near fine clean condition with light edge wear. Contents: later initial blank with large signature to top; title; Preface with decorative headpiece pp iii-v; text with title, decorative headpiece and initial capital pp 1-34 with tailpiece and Finis. Later blank leaves bound in at the rear. The title page is toned with some nibbling to the side edge. There is a small side edge tear to p v of the Preface. Otherwise contents slightly toned but clean.
