Description:
Sturgis, MI: The St. Joseph County Federation of Women's Clubs. Very Good. 1920. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Stapled wraps. SIGNED EDITION. This copy has been signed by Alle Mac on the title page. This is an oversized booklet with cardstock covers and a stapled spine. The booklet is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The covers have some light bumping and edge wear to all edges and the spine. The text pages are clean and bright. There are two photographs tipped in - one to the front inside cover, the other to the rear inside cover (the first photo shows a crowd standing in front of the newly placed marker stone for pioneer park. There are also two newspaper clippings tipped in: the first is with the marker stone photo and explains about the marker and Pioneer Day. The second clipping is on the reverse of the preface and is a tribute to John Sturgis, founder of the city of Sturgis.
