Edinburgh, Scotland: Thomas Turnbull, 1819. Decorative Cloth. Good +. Originally published in 1707. 12mo, 7 1/8" tall, xxiv + 304 pages, gilt tooled leather with four banded spine and black leather title label. A good and generally clean hardcover with significant shelf wear and rubbing to the corners, front hinges cracked, fore-corner tips through to boards, internal binding solid and neat, pages generally clean and various signatures (depending on paper used) light to moderately yellowed with some scattered foxing primarily to the fore-edges and margins, with moderate foxing to the first and last pages.

London: B. Law and Son, 1793. Full-Leather. Good+. Tenth Edition, with additions, particularly one whole book of Mr. Le Clerc's "Against indifference of what Religion a man is of". Done into English by John Clarke. 352 p.pages, 8 1/2" tall. Period brown sheep Full-Leather binding with 5 raised bands to spine. Gilt title on dark red ground to spine. Some wear and rubbing to leather, Split down right side of spine but boards attached. Spots of foxing to endpapers and title, half title and dedicatory pages. Main text pages in very good, clean condition.
