This hardcover book is inscribed by the author on the first free end paper, adding a postscript: "One of the better cheaper acts". An interesting and easy to read book about the early days of TV [Marshall claims he was in it as early as 1940!] The book brings back memories of early shows and personalities. It delves deeply into magic tricks that were featured on TV, explaining how they were performed. The pictorial dust jacket depicts a cameraman behind a big CBS TV camera. The Dust jacket has a section missing at the upper right corner of the rear panel adjacent to the spine and another segment at the middle of the spine area.Gilt lettering on maroon covers in a white pictorial dust jacket with a cartoon on the back panel. 8vo, 124pp. The dust jacket is enclosed in a clear mylar protective cover.
