Toronto: Printed and Published by A.T. Wilgress. 1916. 15 cm x 16.5 cm, original red cloth lettered in gilt, pp. 111. Eight panel folding frontis, "The Trail of the Ottawas - Lake Nipissing to the Ottawa River", engraved by W.J. Thomson. Includes material on the trade route of Hurons And Algonquins, Indian Trade Travel and Exploration, Ekarenniondi, The Ape Man, Ontario Effigy Pipes in Stone, and material on native folk tales and newly acquired archaelogical artefacts. Previous owner's name and press clipping on front free endpaper, front section sprung with small resultant tears in gutters, spine slightly sunned, else very good. .
