The casebinding is a little sprung along top edge, jacket is worn and soiled; no ownership or any other markings, a good to very good copy. The book "attempts to give the reader a brief history of the Institute from its very first days as a quasi-military unit.. to its present role as one of the major social science research organizations in Israel.. The bulk of the presentation is a non-technical account of some 500 projects carried out to date.." The terminal chapter (pp.239-248) is intriguingly entitled Behavior Genetics, in which is discussed, per the printed precis, "Genetic characteristics of Ethiopians and Israelis.. inheritance of human behavior variables.. variations in Israeli Ethnic groups.. mice reared under varying levels of intra- and intergroup competition..
