Portland, Maine: Nature Print Company, circa 1900. First Edition. Unbound. Very good. 22 original photographs, 2 7/8" x 1 7/8" black and white, mounted on 7 x 5 cards. Photographs are simple scenes of forests, meadows, streams and roads. Nothing very dramatic but very pleasant. J. H. Lamson, 1853 to 1902, was a early Maine photographer, and son of a Daguerreotype maker, who conducted business in Bangor and Philadelphia before setting up in Portland.
