It was written in a Novel form for young American boys about South America and the West Indies.The author was the wife of the Consul to British Guiana for over twenty years. The book is attractive with some light wear and a little soiling. The edges are good with a light wear, and the corners turn in a bit. The pages are bright and clean, unmarked. The first page has a tear. Many interesting photo illustrations. The top page ends have average soiling. There is a p/o book plate on the inside cover. Interesting book. 346 pages.. First Edition..
