About This Item
South Portland, Maine: Pilot Press, 1979. 2nd Printing . Soft cover. Very Good. iv, 128; ii, 112; iv, 38 pp. Scarce history of two Casco Bay islands, Littlejohn and Cousins, in the Town of Yarmouth, Maine. This is combines two earlier histories of the islands by the two sisters who were the wife and sister-in-law of the editor, with additions and corrections by the editor. The editor also adds a 38 page supplement describing the islands back in the early 1920's when he first visitied it. It includes substantial genealogies of the inhabitants of the two islands, two pages of black and white photos and a color photo of "the Connecting Link." on the front cover. Some wrinkling to the spine, probably from the binding glue, minor wear at extremities and a bit of soiling on bottom edge of pages else VG. A nice clean, tight, copy.
