Hand printed by Herbert Jones at the Blue Moon Press.Presentation copy from the author, presumably to his mother, inscribed on the front free endpaper: ''Mums with much love from John Hampson Simpson - 10.1.32.'' On the limitation page he has also written: ''This edition was limited to twenty-five signed copies for sale: this sheet is a rare issue being misprinted.'' According to the printed limitation statement there were 250 copies.Covers rubbed at the edges and partially darkened. Spine label chipped, affecting the author's name. Head and tail of spine rubbed. Good. No dustwrapper.
