Scarce British edition with preface dated July 1840. Octavo. [1-6], 7-156 pp. [1-3], 4-176 pp. Half brown calf over marbled boards. Boards and spine scuffed, spine split yet boards are nice and tight. A very good copy of a scarce English edition published the same year as the first English edition.
