1946. Fine. 1 typed leltter, dated Washington, D.C., 6 March 1946, signed by James Forrestal, Secretary of the Navy, to Kenneth Lee Mohler, Lancaster, Pa. James Forrestal (1892-1949) was the last Secretary of the Navy, serving from 1944 to 1947, when he transitioned to the newly created Secretary of Defense, the position he held until 1949. Forrestal thanks Mohler for his service in the Navy during World War Two. With the postmarked envelope. In Fine Condition: clean and solid.
