Cambridge, 1889. unbound. 1 page, 11 x 8.5 inches, Harvard University, Cambridge, January 25, 1889. Written to Dr. Horatio R. Storer, in part: "...I wish...that our Medical School men would take a hearty interest in the American Medical Association...most of them are very busy and some of them are sluggish outside of their teaching and their practice. There is a kind of tradition in the school in favor of complete independence, but I don't think this tradition a very respectable one myself..." Small closed tear on the bottom repaired with tape on the back. Very good(-) condition.
