About This Item
LONDON: HERBERT JENKINS LTD. Not dated. This book was first published in 1924 and there is a previous owner inscription with that date(on the front pastedown). The list of previous books by the author ties in with this date also. Beige green boards. Illustration on the front board of a Wodehousian fop looking up from the ground at a man who has probably punched him and looks ready to do so again. Exterior board spine is almost entirely missing, exposing underlying cloth binding and book paper. The front board is therefore weak but is securely holding. Page edges are tanned. They are also soiled. Small folds/creases on the tips of some pages. Overall strong binding. Location: WREN1 . Good. Hardcover. First Edition(presumed). 1924.
