Publishers yellow and dark brown/black cloth, spine panel stamped in black. 40-page publisher's catalogue "for the Autumn, 1923" inserted at rear, three inserted plates with illustrations by Jean de Bosschere, other illustrations in text, also by de Bosschere. A major collection of supernatural fiction. A VG copy with fading to the dark brown/black portion of the cloth and a small piece of cloth missing from the right hand edge of the rear panel. Some foxing to the page edges. Uncommon in this, the UK first edition
