About This Item
Atlanta: Trade Printing Co, 1948. First Edition. Soft cover. Very good. Octavo stapled soft cover. [4], 102 pages, [1]. Small photograph portrait on the front end paper. Light stains on the contents page. Staples are rusted. Contents are poems, rhymes with references to Atlanta and Georgia. From the preface, "the author, William Edgar Clark, was born and raised in the Belmont community, near the gigantic lump of solid rock known as Stone Mountain in Dekalb County, Georgia. Received his grammar school education at the Lithonia Institute. Being familiar with farm life, these rhymes are written in the everyday language of the good old country people and to all who like this style of episode, I would say sit back, relax and enjoy the, Sayings of Uncle "Zeke." Scarce. One recorded listing of this work in OCLC (UVA).
