[New York]: New Directions Book, [1954]. First American Edition. Octavo (21cm.); original cloth in black pictorial dust jacket; xiv,[2],107pp.; photographic portrait frontispiece, music in text. Jacket extremities rather rubbed and worn with closed tears and subsequent creasing, smallish paper flaw to upper panel not affecting text or illustration, shallow loss to top edge of rear panel not approaching text, rear panel a bit foxed, cloth spine ends just a hint worn, else Near Fine in About Very Good jacket.
