New York: George Routledge & Sons, 1878. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. First Edition. Hardcover. Quarto. 64pp. Pictorial Boards. Full page plates and many vignette illustrations throughout the text. Not dated, 1878 First edition, First impression, with edges stained yellow, "End of Contents" on page 14 and the three illustrations on pages 21, 35 and 63 which were omitted in later editions. Cover has light rubbing and a little bit of edge wear near the spine. Dark blue endpapers; tape stain on ffep also shows on it's verso; ownership book plate on rear paste-down. Neat ownership signature on half-title. Rear hinge has a couple splits, but book is nice and solid. Interior very nice.
