1900. GREENAWAY, Kate. UNDER THE WINDOW. Pictures and rhymes for children. London & New York: Frederick Warne & Co., [N.D., circa 1900?]. Later printing, with six of the original fifty poems from the first edition omitted. 56pp. 4to., white cloth-backed decorated boards. Front and rear covers: title in white, brown outline on olive green ground, surrounded by a procession of children printed in colors on white ground, border printed in olive green. White cloth spine with title printed in olive green. Pictorial endpapers, all edges stained. This is a very good copy, internally clean; the boards are mildly soiled and show some edgewear. Bookplate to front pastedown. (Schuster & Engen 150.3a).
