New York: Oceana Publications, 1957. Pictorial Card Wrappers. GVG. xii, 227 pp. Prepared under the auspices of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Includes index.The UN created a United Nations Emergency Force to secure and supervise the cease-fire during the 1956 Suez Canal crisis. Based on this experience and the Soviet invasion of Hungary in November of 1956, Frye argued the case for a standing UN peace-keeping force. Cream and blue printed paper wrappers yellowed with some foxing, else very good. Printed on good quality paper, which is still flexible.
