About This Item

2000. United States Code Congressional And Administrative News. 2000 Part 1 to Part 5, in 5 books. St. Paul, MN: Thomson West. Publsher's cloth. Ex-library without any stamps or marks, very good to excellent condition. Special $100. * Contains the full text of new federal laws, Congressional Committee Reports that detail histories of the laws, signing statements, Presidential Proclamations, and Executive Orders. Arranged in chronological order, provides tables, including classifications to the U.S.C. and U.S.C.A. and the sections amended, repealed or otherwise affected and a cumulative index. The Public Law section of U.S.C.C.A.N. is organized by public law number. Bill numbers, dates of passage and titles appear before the actual text of the public law. If a legislative history of the act is included in another section of U.S.C.C.A.N., a reference to the page number will be provided under the title of the act.. The public law itself is then printed just as it appears in the Statues At Large. Cites to United States Code titles and section numbers are printed in the margins next to the relevant public law paragraphs. The Statutes at Large citation is printed across the bottom of the U.S.C.C.A.N. page. On the last page of the public law, a brief legislative history bibliography is provided if that public law is deemed significant. The brief legislative history bibliography provides cites to report numbers, Congressional Record volume numbers and years, and Senate and House passage dates.
