Chicago: Shattock & McKay Co., 1913. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo.460 pages. Indexed at the front. The binding measures about 10 1/4 inches tall by 7 inches wide. Hardcover bound in blue cloth with cover designs embossed in white. Corners show some bumping and edges show rubbing. Headcap and foot of spine show some wear. Previous owner's name and address written on front flyleaf. First five pages are foxed. Small tear in top left of title page. Page 7 has a long (about 4 inches) curved tear from the upper left corner of page down into the first third of the text. Text is clean and sound. Illustrations throughout. Many of the illustrations are black and white, but some are in color. The section on stained glass windows shows examples in color; these are very attractive. This Universal Design Book was put out by Steves Sash & Door Co. in San Antonio, Texas. The front cover advertises sash, doors, blinds, mouldings, millwork, roofing, nails, white lead.
