About This Item
London: George Bell and Sons, 1878. Second edition, being the first complete edition as well as the first to appear under Patmore's own name. This copy belonged to collector Norman Colbeck, and his typed catalogue card is laid in. He refers to this as "a scarce book". Light scattered foxing, fore-edge darkened, hinges cracked, slight loss to spine label, crown and foot of spine, else a good copy..
